I'm pleased to be invited by a fellow author, Diane Dean White, to participate in a World Blog Tour.
Check out her blog at: http://simplepleasureswithdiane.weebly.com/blogging-along
I'm a Prism Book Group author. My debut novel is titled Escape to Big Fork Lake. My second novel, Stone of Destiny released in January and the newest book Redemption in Big Fork Lake, will be available in the fall. (fingers crossed)
Writing inspirational novels is a wonderful experience for me; My desire is to encourage readers to see the wonder of love and divine guidance.
I reside in a small town in North Carolina. My husband is an associate pastor and we enjoy going to other churches and rest homes singing and sharing the love that Jesus Christ gave us all.
I'm asked four questions on this tour.
1) What am I working on?
My finished WIP is titled, Postmarked Ever After. Here is the blurb.
A delayed letter and a message from afar unite two hearts.
Recently widowed, Serena Gray battles the daily drama of the Emergency Room, as well as her grief. When a mysterious letter arrives, it raises questions about a past she'd only heard her beloved husband speak about.
While on hospital rounds, a child has a brush with death and recounts a vivid dream that bears a message.
Will she risk happiness for the truth or keep a secret from the past?
2) How does my work differ from others of its genre?
I write Inspiration fiction that highlights worldly issues, but offers closure by following the ethical's of the Bible. My main goal isn't to preach to readers, only to show how everyday problems are tackled with faith.
3) Why do I write what I do
I enjoy sharing the possibilities of a happier life through faith. None of us has carefree days all the time, but with belief in Jesus Christ, they can be less stressful
4) How does my writing process work?
I have a busy life. I'm a part-time caregiver to my mom, (beginning Alzheimer) and step dad (dementia) they live next door and I also watch my youngest grandson.
I get up early in the morning and write until a little past eight. Then take care of family. Then usually get back to writing several times during that day, if my schedule allows.
Around three I stop and prepared dinner.
Most times on Sundays between church services. I squeeze in writing while hubby is working on his evening sermon.
I'm tagging the following author to continue the tour. She'll be posting her writing process on July 29th. I'm happy to introduce to you:
